Two people, four animals, one studio
Patitas means "little paws" in Spanish. We're Justin and Marisa, and we live in Cleveland, Texas, with two dogs both named Bella — Little Bella the chihuahua and Big Bella the mixed breed — plus Checo, our three-legged cat, and Biscuit, who causes most of the trouble.
We started Patitas Creative because the pet businesses around us — the clinics, groomers, and feed stores we use ourselves — deserve video as good as the care they give. And because most of them have Spanish-speaking clients nobody is making content for.
Who We Are
Marisa Montes
Co-founder · On-Camera Host & Product SpecialistMarisa is a licensed pharmacy technician who spent five years compounding veterinary medications — transdermal gels, suspensions, and capsules prepared to USP standards. She's on camera in most of what we make, she runs our Read the Label series, and she makes our Spanish versions feel written for their audience, not translated. She explains what's in a product and how it's made; she leaves treatment to your vet.

Justin trained in broadcast journalism at Arizona State's Cronkite School and worked as a video editor, photographer, and news coordinator at 12 News in Phoenix. He runs production for Patitas — the cameras, lights, sound, and editing — and he worked at a pet supply store through college, so he knows the products from the other side of the counter.
